Data for Breakfast
Why your customer data doesn't add up, and what to do about it
Web Summit is four days, tens of thousands of people, and almost no time to think. So we're booking a quiet room, ordering good coffee, and sitting down with a small group of marketing leaders, data owners and agencies who all deal with the same question: can we trust our customer data?
The eggs are scrambled.
Your customer data shouldn’t be.
That's the whole reason for the breakfast. Whether you run marketing at a brand or build campaigns for one, you eventually hit the same wall: the data is spread across tools, the numbers don't match, and nobody can say with confidence what worked. We'll talk through why that happens, show how we solved it for a global brand, and leave plenty of time to compare notes. No mixer, no badges, no speed rounds.
Hear the problems everyone runs into
Fragmented data, a shaky foundation, a CRM that's always a step behind. We'll go through the customer data issues we see most often and what actually fixes them.
See it in a real case
Twenty minutes on how a client went from scattered data to a single source of truth. Real architecture, real choices, including the ones we'd make differently today.
Leave with new connections
The room is small on purpose. You'll meet everyone at the table, from brand side and agency side, and hear how they're tackling the same problems.
Who's at the table
We're a data analytics agency. We're never the ones making the campaign, building the site, or owning the brand, but we work closely with everyone who does. That's why this breakfast brings both sides together.
Brands and marketing teams
Marketing, CRM, ecommerce and digital leads who own customer data, or who are tired of not trusting it.
Agencies
Creative, media, brand, CRM, web, SEO and PR shops whose clients keep asking data questions that fall outside their scope.
"Your dashboard is a museum of metrics nobody acts on."
The underlying data is fragmented
Ad platforms, web analytics and CRM each tell their own story, and none of them agree. We'll show how to bring advertising and customer data together into one source of truth, with attribution and reporting that hold up across channels, markets and brands.
No solid data foundation
Personalisation, recommendations and AI all sound great until you look at the data underneath. We'll walk through what a customer data architecture needs: event pipelines, a clean data model, identity resolution, and a data layer other tools can rely on.
Incomplete or stale data
When your CRM only knows what happened last week, segments are blunt and triggers arrive too late. We'll show how live on-site behaviour can flow into the CRM, so campaigns respond to what customers are actually doing.
Who's hosting
MultiMinds is an independent data analytics agency from Aalst, Belgium. We unlock, analyse and activate digital and offline data so organisations can build better customer experiences, either directly for brands or alongside the agencies that serve them.
Our approach is no nonsense. We give honest, straightforward conclusions, including the ones people would rather not hear, and we're upfront about what we don't know.
You’re back at the summit before the first keynote.
